Krishnamurti Foundation India (KFI) was set up in 1928 as a charitable institution by Krishnamurti under the name of The Rishi Valley Trust. The name was changed to the Foundation for New Education in 1953 and then to the Krishnamurti Foundation India in 1970. The activities of the Foundation include the preservation and dissemination of his teachings, the running of schools, environmental conservation, rural education and health care.
Established in 1968 as an educational charitable trust, the Foundation exists to preserve and make available Krishnamurti’s teachings, as well as to support Brockwood Park School and the Krishnamurti Centre.
Its mission is to preserve and disseminate the teachings of Krishnamurti. This work includes the operation of the Oak Grove School, the Foundation Business Office, the Krishnamurti Archives, the Krishnamurti Study Center, the Krishnamurti Library, and Krishnamurti Publications of America
