Mattress Recycling

Nine Lives is working with companies to prevent mattresses and box springs from entering landfills. We recycle up to 90% of each mattress we recover.

We deal with small & large companies to ensure that almost all of the materials in the mattresses we recover from them are recycled. (up to 94%). Our main goal is keeping mattresses out of landfills.

Recycling mattresses involves disassembling and separating the different components and materials from each bed unit.

The foam, fiber, steel, and wood from beds are separated, bailed and made ready for a journey back into the manufacturing of many new goods including: mattresses and carpet padding.
